Just a quick update to say that the new semester has started. I managed to make it to the third year level of Japanese, and they don't call it "zannensei" for nothing. We've already have quite a bit of homework and studying. I don't recommend slacking off. At all. Not if you're a third year. I've already procrastinated this weekend more than I should've, which means all of tomorrow will have to be devoted to studying and homework. That, and I think the elective class starts on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday, already), which is going to require a lot of reading. Just, don't follow in my footsteps and procrastinate too much. I know, easier said than done, but please, just try.
On another note, if anyone is here for the year or during the spring semester, here's a little advice to getting away from the cold without being charged literally hundreds for overusing the air conditioner/heater thing: just take your space heater and point it in your general direction wherever you're sitting. Or if you're like me and sit on your bed to do anything from homework to lazing around watching stupid shows, then just set the heater up on your rolly-chair (maybe also on top of a couple of books) and point it at you. It keeps you warm enough without having to overuse the overhead heater. Otherwise, the three blankets each person has is more than enough to keep a person warm. At least, they keep me warm at night.
Well, I think that's all I wanted to relay for the moment. I'm just being content in warming up while waiting for my pajamas to finally dry because I forgot to take them out of the washer earlier. So much for sleeping early. Anyway.
